A wonderful vintage (1942) pressed glass bottle by glassmaker Alfred A. Flaster who only produced for Wave perfume bottles, which can be used to hold perfume, bath salts, bath oils, etc. This really is a special piece, is in beautiful condition with no chips, or cracks and the only sign of age, being the bottom portion of the cork which has deteriorated a bit over time, but there is no damage whatsoever to the glass stem base within that area (see last pic). Bottle measures 6 1/4″H x 12 1/4″ around at its widest point and I have owned this piece for nearly 50 years, having been given it as a gift from an elderly woman who’d owned it for many, many years as well. Not only is the fish stopper wonderful, but the round bottle is even more special as it has ocean bubbles floating upward along with six waves, all of which surround the bottle with each wave of a varying height. Base of bottle is stamped it is U.S. manufactured along with the piece’s issued number as well. Cash only sale.
